We organize Broad Peak Expeditions all year round. You can join one of our fixed group departures or plan your own private trip with friends or your team. We offer three main service levels: Base Camp, Semi Board and Full Board.

  • Base Camp Services ($7,000) – For climbers who need basic support.
  • Semi Board ($12,000) Includes base camp, meals, and some logistics.
  • Full Board ($20,000) complete package with transport, meals, base camp, and climbing support.

 

If you want a private expedition special discounts apply depending on group size.

  • 2–3 people: $25,000
  • 4 people: $23,000
  • 5–20 people: $20,000

Broad Peak Expedition 2026 Itinerary

 


 

Services Included:

  • Pick-up and drop-off from Islamabad airport on arrival and departure.
  • Private air-conditioned transport for all official briefings and de-briefings at the Ministry of Tourism or Alpine Club of Pakistan.
  • Domestic flights between Islamabad and Skardu (both ways).
  • Comfortable coaster/minibus or car for road travel between Islamabad and Skardu if flights are delayed or canceled.
  • 4×4 Jeep transfer from Skardu to Askoli village — the starting point of the trek.
  • Ground transportation from Hushe or Kanday back to Skardu at the end of the trip.
  • Transport for sightseeing tours in Skardu and Islamabad.
  • Hotel stay:
  • 2 nights in a 3*/4* hotel in Islamabad with breakfast.
  • 2 nights in a standard hotel in Chilas with full meals.

What To Expect

1

Day 01: Arrive Islamabad (512m)

Arrive in Islamabad and check in to a comfortable 3*/4* hotel. After breakfast, take a flight to Skardu with amazing views of Nanga Parbat. If the flight is canceled travel by road to Chilas (12–14 hrs). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Skardu (2,467m)

Morning flight to Skardu. If by road, continue driving from Chilas (9–11 hrs). Afternoon free to rest or explore the local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Skardu

A full day for official paperwork, checking gear and preparing for the trek. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Skardu to Askoli (3,000m)

Travel by 4×4 jeep for about 7 hours to Askoli the last village before the glacier. The road is rough and can have landslides. Overnight in tents.

Day 05: Askoli to Jhula (3,200m)

Trek 7–8 hours along the Baltoro River through green fields and over small bridges. Overnight in tents.

Day 06: Jhula to Paju (3,450m)

Walk 7–8 hours along the river with the first possible views of Broad Peak. Overnight in tents.

Day 07: Paju – Rest Day

A full day to rest and acclimatize. Optional short hike nearby. Overnight in tents.

Day 08: Paju to Urdukas (3,900m)

Trek 6–7 hours. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, including Broad Peak in the distance. Overnight in tents.

Day 09: Urdukas to Goro II (4,200m)

Trek 6–7 hours past stunning glaciers and peaks. Camp on the glacier. Overnight in tents.

Day 10: Goro II to Concordia (4,650m)

Trek 5–6 hours to the famous Concordia — where four 8,000m peaks can be seen. Overnight in tents.

Day 11: Concordia to Base Camp (4,750m)

Walk 3–4 hours to Broad Peak Base Camp. This is the main climbing camp. Overnight in tents.

Day 12–40: Climbing Period (29 Days)

Climb Broad Peak following the planned route. The climbing period depends on weather and acclimatization. Overnight in tents.

Day 41: Return to Ali Camp (4,500m)

Trek 5–6 hours across glaciers to Ali Camp. Early rest for next day’s pass crossing. Overnight in tents.

Day 42: Cross Gondogoro La (5,685m)

Start early and cross the high pass with rope support. Enjoy views of K2, Broad Peak, and Laila Peak. Overnight in tents.

Day 43: Trek to Shaircho (3,350m)

Walk 7–8 hours down the glacier to the green yak pastures near Sharisho. Overnight in tents.

Day 44: Trek to Hushe (3,000m)

A 3–4 hour easy walk through fields and riverbanks to Hushe village. Overnight in tents.

Day 45: Hushe to Skardu (2,467m)

Drive 5–6 hours by jeep along the Shyok and Indus Rivers to Skardu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 46: Skardu – De-briefing

Complete formalities and enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 47: Skardu to Chilas (1,265m)

Fly to Islamabad if possible. If not, drive 9 hours to Chilas. Overnight at hotel.

Day 48: Chilas to Islamabad (512m)

Drive 12 hours back to Islamabad. Overnight at hotel.

Day 49: Free Day in Islamabad

A relaxing day for shopping or sightseeing in the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 50: Departure

Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your flight home.
