Pastore Peak (6,209 m) is a beautiful and famous mountain located in the heart of the Karakoram. This expedition is perfect for people who love adventure and nature. The journey starts in Islamabad and from there we travel to Skardu. From Skardu we trek toward the famous K2 Base Camp. This is where the real adventure of climbing Pastore Peak begins. Around this mountain are some of the highest peaks in the world K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum I–V which leave every traveler amazed. As you climb the mountain, the sight of snow covered peaks, shining glaciers and the deep blue sky will take your breath away.

This peak is great for those who are climbing for the first time because the difficulty level is moderate. During this expedition you will walk on icy glaciers, climb steep snowy slopes and camp in beautiful cold valleys at night. Our local expert guides will be with you every step of the way. Their knowledge of the area and their experience will keep you safe and make your journey comfortable. With their guidance you will be able to cross difficult paths confidently and discover your own inner strength.

This expedition is not just about climbing a mountain it’s an experience that can change you from the inside. You don’t just reach the top of a peak, you also overcome your fears and limits. Along the way you will not only see towering mountains but also feel the peace, freshness, and power of nature. You’ll see snowy valleys and star filled skies at night. If the weather is good we will return to Skardu through Gondogoro La Pass (5,600 m) and Hushe which is a very famous and scenic trail.

The Pastore Peak Expedition is perfect for anyone who loves adventure for new climbers who want to experience their first 6,000 m peak and for those who want to test their courage and strength. The cost of this expedition is $4,000 per person for group trips but we also offer customized private trips if you prefer a personal plan. Cancellation Policy

  • 30% deposit is non-refundable after booking confirmation.
  • Cancellations made 30 days before departure receive a 50% refund (excluding deposit).
  • Cancellations made 25 days before departure receive a 25% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 20 days before departure are non-refundable.
  • If canceled due to weather, road closures, or government restrictions, refunds apply only to unused services.
  • No refund for early departure, voluntary cancellation, or leaving the expedition mid-way.
  • Rescue, evacuation, and medical expenses are not refundable.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations, delays, and emergencies.

Fly to Skardu. Transfer to hotel and rest.

Day 5: Briefing at the Tourism Department

Final packing and preparation. Hotel stay.

Day 6: Drive by jeep to Askole

Drive by jeep to Askole a beautiful small farming village. (3,039 m). Camp overnight.

Day 7: Trek to Jhola. (3,170 m)

Enter Karakoram National Park, walk past hills with garnets, and cross a small bridge. Camp.

Day 8: Trek to Paiyu. (3,666 m)

 Walk through the Baltoro Valley to a forest camp.

Day 9: Rest day in Paiyu

Porters will bake bread for the next days.

Day 10: Trek to Khuburtse

 Camp near a lake next to the Baltoro Glacier.

Day 11: Trek to Urdukas. (3,950m)

 Camp on green grass with big boulders around and a clear view of the Great Trango Towers.

Day 12: Trek to Goro II (4,300m)

Camp on the glacier and enjoy amazing views of Masherbrum and Cathedral peaks.

Day 13: Trek to Concordia. (4,550 m)

Famous campsite with stunning views of K2, Mitre Peak and Gasherbrum IV.

Day 14: Walk to Broad Peak Base Camp (4,850 m)

Camp on the Godwin Austen Glacier.

Day 15: Walk to K2 Base Camp

 Visit Gilkey Memorial, then return to Broad Peak Base Camp.

Day 16: Trek to Pastore Peak Base Camp
